The first story is about the protests in Ukraine which have resulted in 7 deaths. The first link is a livestream to the protests that are occurring which has realtime destruction happening. The Prime minister had resigned and there's continuous pressure from Russia for Ukraine to join the Moscow-led Eurasian Customs Union, instead of the European Union. It's just an awful lot of rioting and violent protesting that not many people are aware of.

The second story is about a school-aged Pakistani boy who jumped on a suicide bomber to save his classmates; he was successful. It's a sad tale to tell, but it proves that there are there are people who care more about the welfare of others than their own lives. We don't necessarily need more self sacrificial people, but we need people who care.

This is humane and inhumane because some people think that its inhumane because you are killing frogs that are alive where as people are so annoyed that they think it is humane because they are overpopulated and might die because of lack of resources.

http://www.breitbart.com/Big-Peace/2013/11/11/N-Korea-Has-Mass-Executions
Summary: Recently this past year in November the North Korean government had "publicly" execute 80, North Korea's reason for executing these 80 people were that the had watched films made in South Korea, dealing in pornography or possessed a bible. This is inhumane because that they had been discriminated due to the fact that they were christian.

Even though this might seem silly to some people, but the fact that Dominic Sandoval (D-trix) gives away mountain dew, doritos, and starbucks gift cards, to homeless people. This just shows that there might still be hope in our society.

Ayee, this is Chelsea and Tiffany.

Our example for humane is the nicest place on the internet, literally (http://thenicestplaceontheinter.net/). If you need a hug, random people here film themselves hugging the camera, so it feels like you get an actual hug ^_^ We believe that humane can mean kind and caring, or just good overall.

Our inhumane example is the Kony 2012 movement (http://invisiblechildren.com/about/history/). Joseph Kony is known for abducting kids in order to fill empty spaces in his army and sex slave system. Reports tell that children are often told to kill their parents using guns or blunt objects in order to experience Kony's false religious and godly powers. We believe that this in inhumane due to unnecessary suffering and deceptive control.

The idea being doing a good act or being "humane" doesn't need to come from a human. In our example, we chose a story about how a dog saved a girl from a rattle snake attack. The dog jumped in front of the girl when the snaked attacker her. Though the dog could have went on with his day, he decided to jump in front of the girl and saving her life.

Inhumane events in history are sometimes very controversial. One event that we thought that was inhumane is the atomic bombing in Hiroshima, Japan during the 2nd world war. Although the bombing was out of pride for our country there are many others that believe that this bombing crossed the line. The link below shows how bad the after effects of the atomic bomb.

The link above contains our example of an inhumane incidint. In the case above, a teenage kid in India was beat to death by five grown men. Their reason being all the more disturbing- they did this over a small quarrel on his appearance. This is an act of inhumanity because you see a complete and utter lack of compassion towards an individual. When you base your actions off of discrimination or hatred towards another, you commit acts of cruelty.

http://www.cnn.com/2014/01/21/us/new-york-boy-saves-family-fire/

Above is a link that takes you to a story that completely differs in spirit. An 8 year old boy rescues 6 of his relatives from a burning house and doesn't make it out when trying to rescue a 7th. This kid put the lives of 7 other people before his own, showing us the most compelling act of compassion. That's an example of the word humane.

This example shows the inhumane treatment towards some inmates in prison. This article talks about how some prisoners who have broken a rule have to endure, for example, being placed into solitary confinement, while other prisoners who have broken the same rule are let off with a simple fine.

Humane: http://cainesarcade.com/
This website is about a boy who decided to create an arcade. Out of cardboard boxes. He had no customers at first, however with the power of the internet, thousands came by to play in the arcade, eventually earning him over $100,000 for his college fund. This story is humane, because the world literally came together to support a child's imagination.

ACTS OF INHUMANITY

1) An 18 year old teen kills his aunt's boyfriend and puts his head in her bed as a present.
2) A man in Mexico was known to perform the fastest decapitation and beheading of his wife for "cheating."

1) The teenage boy was living with his aunt and her boyfriend. The story as to why he lived with her was not mentioned, but along with living with her, the boy, since he was of age, was expected to go out and work to help pay with housing expenses such as mortgage and bills and what not. The boy however, refused to do so and it was like he was expecting to just get by without helping out. Therefore, his aunt told him that if he wasn't planning to help that he needed to move out. It was on Christmas Eve when the boy's aunt attended to a party and the aunt's boyfriend went to go visit his family. The boy was left at the house alone and because of his anger of needing to move out, he drank an entire case of beer which was probably a factor as to why he did what he did along with the feud that he had going on with the aunt's boyfriend. When the aunt's boyfriend came home, he took the teenager with him to purchase more beer, but before they left the house, the boy hid a hammer by the door which he eventually used on the aunt's boyfriend when they got home from the drugstore. The teen hit the aunt's boyfriend in the head then closed the shades, locked windows and doors and blasted music as he he gouged out the boyfriend's eyeballs with his fingers and cut off his ears, nose, mouth, arm, hand and head with a knife and saw. After he did that, he placed the remains in his aunt's bed because he claimed he wanted to "leave a present" for his aunt, especially considering it was Christmas Eve. // We think this is beyond disgusting. Reading the news article about it left us with no other feeling than disgust. How could someone do this? This is beyond crazy. Therefore, we're beyond glad that boy is locked up. Crazy kid. (http://www.dnainfo.com/chicago/20131227/hermosa/man-mutilated-aunts-boyfriend-left-his-body-parts-her-bed-authorities)

2) An average Mexican sicario or "hit man" is believed to take forever to decapitate a person. There was a video that was posted on a site titled JewTube and also ended up going viral on Facebook about 2 years ago. Many people believed that aside from the level of difficulty decapitating a person usual holds, this man had the art of beheading all figured out. The video was posted with a claim that the man cut his wife’s head off for cheating. // Personally, we think that's on a whole new level of brutal. Especially because even the guy behind the camera didn't even do anything to stop it. He just kept rolling the camera all the way till the end when her head was completely detached. Ridiculous. Act of humanity: http://www.8newsnow.com/story/24133385/acts-of-kindness-giovanna

In Las Vegas, in the Boys Town, Giovanna Raccosta is helping to redesign the bedrooms for the program. The children have come from nothing, so the smallest of things can make them smile, if only for awhile. However, Raccosta's act of kindness will surely last a long time, for the shelter, and these children.
